Simon Smith (diplomat)

Simon John Meredith Smith (born 14 January 1958 in Wegberg, Germany) is a British diplomat and currently Her Britannic Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Austria[1][2]. Smith is also the Permament Representative of the United Kingdom to the UN International Organizations in Vienna [3]. Smith joined Her Majesty's Diplomatic Service in 1986. He has held positions in London, Tokyo, and Moscow.
